$10,000 Grant for Investigative Journalism | WUIN
The RCDIJ Africa Fund has a ceiling of $10,000. Approved sum for each project ranges from under $1,000 to $10,000. It is determined by a number of considerations, including scale, location, and duration.
The RCDIJ Africa Fund accepts applications on a rolling basis. A committee reviews applications, and applicants are notified of their application status upon review, usually within a two-month cycle.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants are to submit the following in a single PDF document, all in English:
1. Project idea
2. Project work plan
3. Project budget
4. Links to past published works
5. Data page of International Passport
6. CV
HOW TO APPLY
Applicants are to complete the application form or send the required PDF document with the contents detailed above, as an attachment to info@rcdij.org. Subject of the mail should read: RCDIJ AFRICA FUND APPLICATION.

The RCDIJ Africa Fund supports small to mid-scale data and/or investigative journalism projects spanning a wide range of areas consistent with our objectives, including education, health, security, environment, democracy, corruption, economy, migration, technology, culture and development.

In addition to monetary support, successful applicants will have their completed works published on the centre’s sister platform, Ripples Nigeria, with full editorial support throughout the process.
